Sunset Snap

Sunset turning...
What a beautifull windless evening taking my 8ft Halo, Genesis SUP model for a turn.

We made this one from PU foam and not from the regular polystyrene, it is less boyant and feels more like a surfboard on the wave. We also gave it a nice thin performance rail.

Loving it.

Erina ripping on her SUP. One of our friends Ivan from Coreban organised her the board. (www.coreban.com)

The most fun you can have on a flat day and bad viz.

SUP has really opened up a whole new dimension to surfing for me and my family. You can go down to the beach with friends and have fun in 1ft waves. Taking turns and making them when its your turn to go.

Yes you've caught me out, Ivan organised her the board and the whole family is having a jol!!!

Spearfishing on saterday

We had some good shooting on Saturday got some bream and four Yellow tail. Those yellow tail are fast!!!!

Had a bummer day and lost three fish cause my safety kept putting itself on.

Why is it that people immediately think of sharks when you talk about spearfishing? Here is a little photo to keep you thinking. Sharks don't just attack people ask the guy in the kayak.

Halo will be back in the shaping bay on Monday for the beginning of 2009.

No swell

Not a lot happening here in Cape Town with the swell. The westerly wind has cleared the water a bit and it is nice and warm, 17 degrees Celcius. A chance of shooting some fish tomorrow. Will be dreaming of these pretty ones tonight.
